BRIEF
Select an album and create its cover using handmade elements to integrate to the composition. The selected album is Golden Age, by Woodkid.
APPROACH
Golden Age talks about the transition from childhood to adulthood. The project is about a boy, who starts organic and later turns himself into marble. The massive hammer represents the powerful music style of Woodkid that uses a lot of percussions. The broken face, that was hit by the hammer, represents the boy's dreams and expectations confronted with adulthood and the reality of life.
The type lockup was made using a combination of two fonts : Desira and Saint Regular, with some adjustments to connect some of the letters together.
